| Wanderer
Hear the voice of the wanderer
He calls out Your Name.
The words he uses are different now
The words of yesterday are not the same.
Those words were loud and frightening
As he took your name in vain.
The words of today are soft and sweet
And like himself now, tame.
Observe the wanderer walking
No longer limb and lame.
But upright and strong now, not looking back
Upon the road which he came.
Hear the voice of the wanderer
His song is like a flame.
It lights the pathway to Your door
Which, though he never knew it, was always the aim.
