God uses
simple things.
A miracle to bring.
The rod to open the sea
so the Israelites could flee.

Five stones
and a slingshot,
Goliath tumbled like a book
as the Philistines fled like crooks.

A vessel of oil
the widow's debts to foil.
Capturing Satan in his plot
bringing it to naught.

A lad's lunch
for others to munch.
It was simple fare
with plenty to spare.

Jesus used spit
to heal blind eyes.
Satan to defy
on God you can rely.

If you believe
wait and receive.
God can make a way
if you pray.

God uses simple things.
