A friend called me on the phone this afternoon and cried her heart out
about some things she is going through. She is facing very difficult decisions
and circumstances. We talked for almost an hour. I listened to her and
then I read her one of my writings that she said helped her.
She said that she trusted God, but she just felt overwhelmed. I told her
to get out of the way and stop trying to solve her problems and let God
solve them. When it comes right down to it, He is the only One Who can
fix what is wrong in our lives. Our feeble efforts are nothing compared
to His Works.
I don’t know about you, but I am tired of satan coming against us.
I can honestly say that I may get down and upset about something I am
going through for an hour or so, but I have learned to immediately run
to Jesus for help. We are instructed to resist the devil.
One of the best ways to resist the devil is not to give him any respect
and when we capitalize his name (I used to do that), then we are giving
him the impression that he is important to us. We need to realize that
he may win a battle, but he can never defeat us as our Victory was won
by the shed Blood of Jesus on the Cross.
When you fully comprehend in your heart that if you will run to Jesus
when something is wrong, then you will always get the victory and be at
Peace even in the midst of the most difficult situations. I know this
from personal experience. I urge you to immediately run to Jesus and let
Him give you Peace and the Victory. Jesus is an Expert at defeating satan.
Jesus Loves you and desires to see you happy. However, He can’t
help you unless you go to Him and get out of the way and let Him flow
His Peace, Understanding, and Love into your heart.
