Have there been times when you have gotten angry with your family
and friends? There have been many times in my life when I have been
angry with my family and friends. I used to have a terrible temper
and just because I am saved, it does not make me immune to the attacks
of satan.
I used to be stay angry for a long time at people. One day, this
verse became real to my heart. I finally grasped the concept Jesus
is telling us. It is not people who are the problem, it is satan.
When I asked Jesus to forgive me for all my anger, He took the anger
out of my heart and filled it with His Peace.
Stop being angry with your family and friends; vent your anger on
the one who causes conflicts, satan. However, we can control what
we say and do to others. It is satan that tempts us, but we have
the choice how to react to the temptation.
Sometimes we allow satan to win a battle, but he will never win
the war. The war was won and satan was defeated when Jesus died
for us.
