We all have time where we need a defense against life‚s struggles.
As in a shield against sin, something in which can be there to remind
us that something we do is wrong. We all have our weaknesses about
everything. Even though we may not admit all the things we do wrong,
we all fall into the clutches of sin. Some of us have addictions
with drugs, alcohol, porn, hate, lying. We all do it right, so why
do we all get punished? Well those who do bad things like the examples
above will get punished, but Jesus gave us another way. He died
for us so we can be righteous, with Him. When the Lord gave His
life, sin had no other choice than to let in. All we have to do
is come to Him and ask to forgive us, and the best part is∑He
does forgive us! He also gave us a shield against sin, He gave Himself
to us. I mean look around, if we are tempted, God always gives us
a way out. God provided Christian music to let us worship and let
sin flee, He gave us churches to worship Him when need be, He gives
us our other brothers and sisters in Christ to help us along, but
the best thing He gave us was the Bible.
The Bible has all of life‚s answers in it just look. Try
and prove God wrong, you won‚t succeed.
About a year ago I saw an acronym for B.I.B.L.E, which stood for:
Basic
Instruction
Before
Leaving
Earth
It made sense, we only live on earth a very minuet time period,
compared to eternity.
Here is a good Bible verse for when or if becoming tempted by sin:
Joshua 1:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not
be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever
you go."
Another for becoming consistent in following Christ:
John 8:11
"And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go,
and sin no more".
