from distress to rest,
depression to restoration,
human labour to divine favour,
alienation to reconciliation,
the rejected to the accepted
damnation to salvation,
spiritual death to resurrection,
eternal life and abundant life.
What an amazing grace
for the Race of Grace
This the rest of all rests the mother of rests. Ti ends all depression and rises above all oppression. It exchanges fruitless labour for divine favour. It raise the dead back to life acquits the guilty and atones for sin, gives a fresh start; a new lease of life. it turns night into day. Against natural hope it brings a glorious hope from the God of Hope.
With this rest comes the peace of God that transcends all understanding; boundless peace with God. Enemies are turned into friends- the separating wall between God and man is bulldozed. The laws and ordinance that condemned us were nailed to the cross. Col. 2:14
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalm 103:11-12
Redeemed at a Great Price
Our rest came and comes at a price. The sinless was made to be sin that we might be made the righteousness in Christ. 2Cor.5:21
18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
the iniquity of us all. Isa53:6
God sent His beloved son as a ransom a scape goat, a lamb to take away the sin of the whole world. It was not easy, yet because of you and I He did it, laying down His life as a Good Shepherd that we might have life and have it to the full. He heed the call, desire and passion of the Father and the Trinity: Who we go for us?
And He said, Here I am, send Me. They are guilty, but I will take their place. I will take the punishment that will bring their reconciliation and peace with God. I will take the beating that will bring their restoration and freedom from the slave market of sin. I will release them from the bondage of sin serfdom and Satan
They do not deserve it, but that is what your grace is all about- unmerited favour. There is no one that is good enough but your mercy cover them and I will give them my cloak of righteousness. We you look at those who have called my name and made me Lord of their lives, you will see me instead. And back will come the verdict; Accepted in the beloved.
We do you stand my friend?
Have you made Jesus your choice? Is He resident in your heart as Lord and saviour or are one of those paying lip service to Him? only you can answer that question. If you are not sure, then this is your opportunity.
Bow down your head in prayer and pray this prayer from your heart:
Heavenly Father,
I heed your voice today to make Jesus my choice.
I admit my relationship with Him is not right and I want to come to the cross.
I confess with my mouth that I am a sinner and that I need a Saviour.
Jesus, son of the Living God, come into my life this day. Forgive me of my sins and cleanse me Lord. I am sorry for my sins. Make me your child from to day.
Let the old go and let the new come according to your word.
Thank you Lord, for making me a brand new creature. Take the heart of stone and give me a heart of flesh. I belong to you through and through from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet.
Let someone know that you have made a commitment today. Find a good bible believing Church and attend. You need to be grounded in prayer, bible studies and devotion to your new found love.
