       Day 38             Read: I Peter 3:15

         Your piety is to be a secret thing.
         It is your spiritual underclothing.

         The only eye you are to please is the eye of God.
         He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most
         High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty

         But while you keep secret about the piety that
         you are practicing,
                 you must not keep secret about
                 the good that God is doing.

         Be modest and humble and quiet about yourself

             ———but not about Jesus.

                  CONFESS JESUS BEFORE MEN.

             “Whosoever shall confess me before men,
             him will I confess before my Father
             which is in Heaven.”

             “Be ready always to give an answer to
             every man that asketh you a reason
             for the hope that is in you with
             meekness and with fear.”

         If Jesus is the reason for the hope that is in
         you. . . . .

         If Jesus is the source of the peace that sustains
         you. .. .

         If Jesus is the power that drives you through
         the storms......

                  then SAY IT.
              If it is a fact,

                  confess it to those who want
                   to know. Give them the truth.
