Day 22            Read: Luke 12:35—38
         
         Jesus desires to live in You.
         
         He promises that if you will be where He is and
         do what He commands, He will dwell in your very
         body and lift your thoughts into the heavenly
         regions and cause supernatural fruit to spring
         from your life.
         
         But how do I begin?  One sentence Sums it up:
 
             “I am among you as He that serveth.”
         
                 Jesus came to wait, not to be waited on.
                 Jesus came to serve, not to be served.         
                 Not to seek His own honor but to honor
                 His Father.
         
         So long as His disciples are scrambling for credit
         and recognition and importance, they are on their
         own. They may get credit and become important in
         the eyes of men, but they are without Christ.
         
         Jesus cannot live in you until you are in His
         path...until you give up your longing to “be
         somebody” and become satisfied to wait and serve
         and work with no recognition from men.
         
         Are you willing to be like Jesus in this too?
         
             He is waiting to meet you and enter your
             life down in the servant’s quarters.
 
             You will find Jesus nowhere else.
