Day 14 Read: Psalm
2:10—12
Fear of what
man can do to you
Or fear of the
future
is terror and panic,
it drives out all reason,
it is the opposite of faith.
This is why He says, “Fear not.”
“Fear not,
you are of more value than many
sparrows.
“Fear
not, it is I.”
“Fear not,
it is your Father’s good pleasure to
give you
the Kingdom.”
This kind of fear must die, and in its
place must be born the fear of God.
The fear of God
is reverence and awe.
The fear of the
Lord is the foundation of all
faith....the
root of all compassion....the
beginning of
all wisdom.
Cornelius the Gentile was visited by
an angel and by the Holy Spirit because
he feared God.
Be not afraid
of them that kill the body and
after that have
no more they can do. But I will
forewarn you
whom ye shall fear: Fear Him which
after He
hath killed, hath power to cast into
Hell; yea I say
unto you, Fear Him!”
When you fear Him, you will be terrified
of nothing. Satan will never again be
able to frighten you from the path that
leads to the Home of your Father, whom
you have learned to fear, love and trust
above all things.
