Day 12 Read; John 21:15—19
God doesn’t
ask you, ‘“How many hours did you
spend in church
work this week?”
He asks: “Do
you love my Son?”
Do you love Him enough to walk in
His steps out there in the world
where I’ve placed you to work?
Do you love Him enough to reflect
His goodness toward the people who
live in your neighborhood?
Do you love Him enough to visit the
sick, clothe the naked, and feed
the hungry?
Do you love Him enough to confess
Him before other men?
We all wish we
could be doing more to build up
the Church.
....but it’s not all our “doing” that
builds
up the Church.
Peter, the “Rock” upon whose confession
and faithfulness Jesus Christ began to
build His Church, was not given a set of
blueprints and told to go to work....
One thing was needful:
“Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?”
“Yea, Lord; thou knowest that
I love thee.” .....“Feed my lambs”
When you can
say with all your heart, “Yea,
Lord; thou knowest
that I love thee,” He’ll
tell you what
He wants you to do.
